Every year, Google's Year in Search gives us a glimpse into the most popular searches of the year. But 2016 challenged us in new ways and left lots of people searching for the good in the year.
So we used the search data from 2016 to tell the story of the year through a different lens, and reminded the world that even in darkness love still finds a way.
