This Twitch twist on the classic side-scroll game format was a new way to present a retrospective as players side-scrolled their way through the best moments of 2023 on Twitch, based on data and highlights, collecting emotes to earn points.
We put the game into the hands of our streamers and onto the front page of Twitch, turning Twitch Recap into a community wide moment the whole community could participate and play a part in - the same way they do all year long.
The Recap Game drove users to get their personalized end of year recaps, with their individual data from the year.
